![]() While continuously moving her passion project Emilie's Musical Journeys forward, Pilar spent most of 2008 and the first quarter of 2009 working as a Production Manager for AMCI - a company who's passion is the automotive industry, both consumer and sales/training events. She temporarily joined the promotions team at Casanova-Pendrill in 2007 to produce the Hispanic Grassroots initiative for Glaxo-Smith-Kline's product alli. The events took place in Los Angeles and New York City in September of 2007. To
initially get her start in the entertainment business, Pilar worked as an intern at the Santa Fe Opera
in the Special Events Office.
Since moving to California in 1997 to pursue acting and singing, she started off as a Production Assistant and worked her way up to a Producer. Pilar understood early on that it was important to understand all aspects of a production - especially the people responsible to make "it" happen. Those who have worked under her have said they feel appreciated, respected, and have a smile on their face. She may be demanding, but they know it's for a good reason and she's just as willing to work along side them to achieve the end results. |
